Students are motivated to participate in 'Gurmat Test' organized by the college  during  November every  year at the  national level.  More  than 1, 25, 000  students appeared the test held in 2006 which was conducted  by the college according to a specified syllabus at various canters. Prizes worth Rs. 20 lakh were awarded to more than 15,000 students in 2006.
